Amazing, gifted, and outstanding. These three words summarizes Deborah’s Transformative Massage Therapy. This is a long overdue recommendation for b...oth San Francisco and Embarcadero Cove offices. I’ve been fortunate to receive care from Deborah Hayes since 2017. Deborah’s massage therapy is an integral part of my wellness routine on a monthly basis. She truly has a gift and talent for understanding and addressing my issues by utilizing customized Structural Integration and relaxation techniques. Initially, I came to the office with various injuries just having started my yoga practice and outdoor activities, including running and hiking, more than six years ago. After one or few sessions, depending on the injury, I experienced a significant relief and balance within my body. Deborah’s office offers a tranquil environment with great relaxing music. The office is always clean and tidy as the room is sanitized between clients, a HEPA filter is On and since 2020, Covid safety precautions are always in effect. I enthusiastically recommend Deborah Hayes to anyone seeking a gifted, intuitive, and outstanding massage therapist. I look forward to many more years of exemplary care! Valerie J Show more

Works through discomfort, without hitting unbearable pain — good intuition to push the limits without going over. All I can say is wow! If I could make this review 10 stars I would. I have multiple injuries that are inoperable (double severed rotator cuffs) and ha...ve already had some major surgeries performed on my body, I have experienced many different body work providers. Deborah is one of, if not the best I've ever experienced. Her professionalism is beyond amazing. Her technique is very unique, which is what makes her massages so incredibly effective. Deborah does impactful work on particularly challenging areas of the body, with lasting benefits well after the session is over. The location in SF is... convenient with easy parking, and the room in which she works is cozy, clean, and quiet. Know going into it that it IS deep tissue, so not necessarily a soothing, easy peasy, and relaxing experience. She'll work on long neglected muscles that are not used to seeing any action (and thus can be sensitive). But it's so worth it! Definitely recommended, and I've been going monthly for several months now with great results. Show more

So excited to share about Deborah's services!! advantages: Deborah has a great location, easy parking, friendly, and is a talented masseuse. disadva...ntages: none! recommendations: Deborah does deep body work and has amazing recommendations for taking advantage of her work. My recommendation is to follow all her recommendations for post massage actions! Benefits: I feel more flexible and stronger 2 days after a massage with Deborah. This is not just a massage where I see relaxation as the only benefit. I am taking care of my body with her massages, letting my knots of stress, typing, hill climbing, and phone use slip away! Drawbacks: none! Advice on what to avoid: not taking her recommendations! opinion about the price and/or quality of the service: great price for the quality of service. She has so much knowledge, talent, and experience it is very much worth the price. willingness to become a return customer or recommend the service to a friend: I have seen Deborah 3 times and am planning to make this a bimonthly practice. During this service, I received the first massage from Deborah and she did an amazing job. She was very gentle in letting me know that discomfort is t...o be expected, but pain is not part of the massage experience, so if there's any pain to let her know and she would adjust accordingly. She was very in tune with her flow and found knots I didn't even know were there. She had hand sanitizer throughout and was very conscious to keep things sanitized. Highly recommended. Show more

I met with Deborah for the first time, and she was able to work with parts of my body that have been painfully blocked off and/or constricted, maybe f...or all my life. I'm highly sensitive to touch & pain, and I tend to squirm or react strongly when other massage therapists access sore spots. Somehow I trusted Deborah & managed to allow her to stay with these knots until they released & I felt big big relief.A++ Show more
