I am extremely disappointed with Ashley and her service. I booked her to start my dreadloc journey. The first time she did my hair, my dreads were une...ven and not looked a hot mess. She said with my hair texture it won’t come out the way I want but I challenged her because although she’s the “professional” I’ve seen many girls with my hair texture have dreads and knew it was possible for me to get the outcome I desired. I booked her again and had her redo them and paid full price again. Guess what, they came out 10x better and I felt confident to continue my journey. 4 weeks goes by and I booked my Retwist. Well instead of her doing my Retwist she took it upon herself to do a completely different method that I didn’t ask for which took away the dreads and left my hair curly again with knots at the root. My hair has been breaking off. I communicated this with her and booked my “Retwist” and-an hour before our appointment she increases the price and tells me it’s more expensive because she has to do my whole head again. I’ve had 3 appointments and still don’t have dreadlocs and now I’m left having to find another loctician because she’s trying to take advantage of me. Not to mention I gave her a product I sell that’s expensive for free to help her with her back pain. It’s clear she knows how to dread ppl with textured hair but for those of you who have curly fine textured hair I’d recommend going to a real loctician. I’ve spent so much money and have no results besides a head full of knots and I’m extremely disappointed in her services! Show more

Update: You loved your hair as you left me a 5 star review you are upset about my prices accordingly to our text messages. You didn't come to your appointment. I didn't give you anything different. You don't have instant locs as I told you it would take 6-12months to lock your hair using the method you insist on using. You did not follow aftercare instructions and removed your protective style. I never changed methods. I never received any complaints until I told you that you booked the wrong service. Pics and her original review in my profile.
