- Acrylic Rebalance
  
  A rebalance is necessary when a sculpted nail grows out causing a structural imbalance. The enhancement must then be filed down and rebuilt with proper structural integrity. This also applies to acrylic sets done with pigmented acrylic powder. The set must be filed down and rebuilt with the new color. The old color will be visible from underneath the nail. Lighter shades may not completely camouflage darker shades.
