    • Ceramic coating

      The biggest cost comes from the labor rate, as the process of applying a ceramic coating is very time consuming. This also the reason why the price differs significantly between cars. When applying a ceramic coating, you essentially add a layer of protection over the current paint work. Because of this, the paint must be in pristine condition. If your car is brand new or recently been repainted, it will be much easier(and cheaper) to ensure the paint is in pristine condition than a Car has been poorly maintained. Preparing a car for ceramic coating requires many steps, including: - prewash - handwash - paint correction - panel wipe - polish hard to reach areas - and more... Of all these steps the most time consuming is the paint correction which can take several hours. After preparing the car, the ceramic coating must be applied which also takes a few hours. This is why the size of the car matters.A bigger car will need more time to detail and apply the ceramic coating. In total, preparing and applying a ceramic coating could take 15 - 25 hrs A ceramic coating will protect your car's paint work. This includes protection against UV light,oxidation,rust,scratches,and more. Although it does not make your car invincible, it does significantly reduce the chances of minor damage. Ceramic coating will offer greater protection for a longer time. Also we have to remember ceramic coating is not for every vehicle. Vehicles that require: - has paint that's kept in near-perfect condition - driven regularly in all conditions but is not neglected. - washed often, with proper wash techniques and products. - can benefit from the ability to wash quickly and easily. Vehicles that will be better off with a sealant: - a daily driver that gets abused - gets very dirty, and isn't washed right away - likely to be scratched or dented - owned by someone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money. Vehicle that only needs a wax: - a show car that requires very little protection - appearance is more important than longevity - may have been previously sealed and needs a slight boost

      It is not recommended to polish or wax a car without claying it first because it can cause scratches and swirl marks. You wonder why last time someone done it there were swirls because not claying first,or just a bad wax job.You must make sure you properly prepare the paint before polishing or waxing in order to make it safe and effective.
