I came and got box braids that were mid back. Things went quite well! I loved the shop! Things were neat and clean! Beautiful pictures on the wall as ...well! Owner was pleasant and friendly! And my braids were done in the time frame that was specified! When she was done I was extremely happy with the end results! I highly recommend her and her work! OMG!! Where do I start!!! Let's start with accomadating...I flew in from San Francisco and my initial stylist cancelled last minute. I booked an ap...pointment with Shavette on the wrong day (Sept instead of August), contacted her, and she actually made an exception, despite my error, and took me me on a day she wasn't scheduled! My braids were everything I wanted and more. Shavette is a gem!! She has such a beautiful and positive energy!!l Her work is flawless, she's knowledgeable, and she effortlessly brought to life what I envisioned! This was my first visit with Shavette and it won't be my last!! I'll be traveling from San Francisco to Dallas to get me braids done from now on! :-) Show more

Fwd: Fwd: Shavette has done my braids years ago when my natural hair was healthy long @ beautiful. Shavette always had me leaving her shop feeling lik...e a STAR, @ Shavette has a kind spirit. I hadn't been back in two years or so because I lost my dad and I believe I had a nervous breakdown because my natural hair started to come out slowly and the like overnite it was like WOW whats happening. Well, I went in yesterday for two cornrows. Shavette looked at my thinning hair, and the other salon stylist agreed that my hair was damaged due to lack of moisture and conditioner and protein. I really appreciate Shavette and other stylists for keeping it real with me that if I allowed her to braid my hair today, my real hair would just pluck on out the root cause it's done lost its elasticity See yall I been using this serum from HOBELABS for almost a year now, and honestly, I thought it was working. I didn't keep my scalp and hair oiled and moisturized. Some stylists would have gone on and braided my hair, not caring. Shavette really does care for her clients. I left there yesterday and rushed to beauty supply and got all the GROGANCA LOTIONS, GREASE, SHAMPOO ETC TO MY RESCUE. I put this on my hair/scalp, and my edges already feel tighter, and my whole head tingles when putting on. so yall I been starving my scalp from nutrients. I take biotin and collagen vitamins. It want take long to get my hair back healthy. Shavette, thank you for being compassionate with me. I will see you in November to get my crochets. Stay blessed 😊.
