It had been a while between cuts so I did need to chop off a bit t...o get it healthy but she made sure to keep a comfortable length for me. Erika did an ok job of cutting my hair, but HORRIBLE job styling it! Usually, when I get my hair cut, they blow it dry with a round brush then style i...t with a flat iron or curling wand. Well, Erika put way too much product in then half blew it dry on a low setting (no brush) while scrunching my hair. When she was done, my hair was a frizzy mess with too much product in it. If I’m paying $85 + tip for a haircut (no color or anything fancy), you better be able to style it after. I wish I had a photo, but I ran home immediately to shower and restyle it myself. NOT WORTH THE MONEY FOR A HAIRCUT!!! She also assumed I was straight and asked if I had a boyfriend - it’s 2022 and we’re in California, she should have said partner or SO.If you’re below 40, do not go here to get your hair cut. She is excellent at choosing a haircut that flatters your face and understands how to work with thick, long, curly hair. She so nice she really cares about her clients.
