Lash Lift Duo (lash lift & tinting)

Pre paid and tipped on Booksy for my eye lash lift an tint + brow Botox service with nadia. It was my first time using her but not my first time at Da... Beauty Bar. I chose this salon because my previous lift and tint a year or so ago with a different person was so wonderful and lasted so long that I was inclined to go back again. I booked for a “lash lift and tint duo” and added the service “brow Botox”. From the moment I walked in, there were issues. My appointment was requested for 1pm however was moved to 2pm the day of- it being the holiday season, I had a lot of errands to do and was clear with the staff prior and at check in that I had plans and was needing to be seen in a reasonable time frame. Nadia arrived at 2:28p. Nearly 30 minutes late for our appointment. Once checked in with Nadia, she asked me what services I was doing and I said lash lift and tint and brow. She said okay so lamination and lashes and I said yes sure whatever I booked on Booksy. I also made he do aware I prepaid and tipped so everything will be taken care of bringing the total paid to $190. She did the services and while my eyes were closed I did notice she put some type of serum on my brows but I didn’t know what the “ brow Botox” and was trusting my technician to know what services I booked online with her. After we finished I was a bit shocked by the results but didn’t hate them. The brown weren’t what I wanted or am Used to but it is what it is I thought. UNTIL I went to the front to tip more for her time and was told I owe an additional $100 for a whopping total of $270! I was appalled. I spoke to the receptionist AND one of the owners who informed me I HAD to pay for the services as she “asked me” and “I should’ve known”. When I demanded I wouldn’t be paying the additional amount the Owner threatened to charge my card on file with Booksy with our without my permission! Feeling pressured and already being over 30 mins late to my errands, I chose to charge my card and paid the difference. Do not come here!!!! The service was very poor and slow. Although my eyelashes look okay they aren’t even nearly as good as they were with the first technician over a year ago. I will say nadia was kind during the service but that’s about the only positive thing I can say. I feel jipped and ugly. I paid $270 to feel ugly and dissatisfied. Never again. Show more
Perfection! Victoria and her team are the absolute best in Miami. I had a nail emergency on Saturday, another salon butchered my beautiful long nails ...and broke one, needless to say I was horrified. That same day I was able to contact Dat Beauty Bar and told them my situation. They promptly booked me for Monday with Julia, did my nails in 1 hr 15 mins. She was fast and efficient really enjoyed her, can’t wait for my next set. I am a professional dog groomer and I deal with all kinds of dogs. My nails have to be strong and beautiful all at once since I meet many new clients on a weekly basis. Julia gave me the shape, length and strength I needed for my work, my hands are very important to me on more than just looks, I couldn’t be happier! I will post my before and after ❤️ Show more

If you’re looking for a nail tech, Mary is the best! My friend recommended I try DA Beauty Bar. I have had trouble finding a good nail tech here in ...Miami, and have been looking all over. My nails usually start chipping within a week of having them done. Now that I found Mary to do my nails, I’m so happy! She has this amazing technique and they haven’t chipped yet! They look just as good as the day I got them done. She’s very professional, detail oriented and a sweet girl! I highly recommend her and love her work! Show more

The worst experience ever! Avoid Lina, she specializes on manicure. Rude, bossy, boorish attitude. Once I’ve asked for color she didn’t like to do (wh...ite needs time and perseverance) she immediately showed me her attitude. So she refused to cover my nails after she took off the gel 😂👍🏼 I was SHOCKED! Have you ever been refused like this? Also she’s far from carefulness. Im not sure if she sanitizes her tools. After her I got a green nail. Do not have any evidence of her fault, you know.. but … attitude, service…. it is what it is. BE AWARE! Show more

Hello Kateryna ! Since we care a lot about our service, we checked our cameras and we didn’t notice rude attitude from our employee. Also your nail tech noticed a green abnormality, possibly fungus which required medical attention that’s why she refused to apply gel coating. We are all about safety and need to protect all our clients from potential contamination . Our manage spoke to you, apologised, gave you 10% discount and another nail tech applied nail polish on that nail which had to be thrown out to protect all our clients . All our instruments are cleaned and sterilised in 4 steps after each client as well we use only one time individual files, sponge on each client and after use we throw them away.
