I rarely write reviews, but I felt the need to do so this time. For context, this was my first time booking with Booksy so I wasnt entirely sure how ...everything worked. I set an appt, because I was in dire need of a haircut. The following day, while I was at work, I got a text requesting for me to come sooner than my scheduled appointment time, to which I replied I would attempt to do so but my work schedule and traffic may not allow for it. So, in an attempt to be accommodating, I left work early to arrive before my scheduled appointment, and notified Shad to my arrival using the same mode of contact he used with me. While I waited for him to finish his first cut, I watched as a walk-in was accepted before me, even though I booked for that specific time slot. I didn't make a big deal... pick your battles and because again, I really needed the cut. To be clear, there's nothing wrong with the dude's craft, he did great work. However, while the cut was amazing, and time was taken to ensure that I looked and felt good upon leaving, it just didn't sit right with me that I booked ahead, made an effort on his behalf to leave work early, hurried there only to sit and wait; Simply acknowledging the mistake would've gone a long way for me. Everyone values their time, as they should; just felt like my time wasn't also valued as equally. Show more
