The braids are neat and she moves fast. It took the quoted time of 5hrs. I could be wrong but I booked small knotless, midback boho braid and these lo...ok bigger than they should be, these look like smedium. I booked 2 weeks in advance and followed the instructions on the site and left my hair color in the notes, I gave 2 options. She texted the day before saying neither color was available at the store in boho and it’s an up charge for “unnatural colors”. I went with 1B because there was no time to cancel or reschedule as it was the day before. If there was an additional charge for “unnatural colors” that should have been listed and not disclosed the day before the appointment. Show more

Hey miss Nikiti, if you were unhappy with your service it would’ve been nice to know that upfront because you told me you were happy with the service once it was finished. Also I have to let clients know when enhancements or colors outside of black and brown cost extra. Although you may have made your appointment 2 weeks ago, I don’t always have time to prepare well in advance because I have such a high volume of customers during summer months. You asked for 99j and 33 which typically only come in braiding hair and not the human hair and I asked if there was an alternative color you wanted and you opted for 1b. I’m sorry that you didn’t enjoy your experience with me and I hope you find the quality you’re seeking.

I absolutely love and am happy with the way she did my hair, she did it like how it looked in the photo I gave her! However, she tried to charge me an... $35 extra fee because the the hair style took longer then she anticipated and the client after me canceled after she informed them that they may have to come later, she let me know what happened and told me she normally wouldn’t do this but she will have to charge me $35 because the client canceled after me (which isn’t my fault and she tried to blame me for) I booked the appointment with her 2-3 weeks in advance and let her know from the start of what ALL I wanted done (including a wash a blow out). I asked for a way to comprise because I wasn’t expecting to have a unexpected fee thrown at me especially since I told her all I wanted done (I was also desperate to get my hair done) she told me if I could come back after she gets done with her next client we could finish the next half of my hair which I said I was okay with (I really wasn’t but I really needed my hair done since I was moving the week after) I felt really taken advantage of in this situation but we worked it all out and I did get what I came to her for which is for my hair to be done, I love the hair but again the business etiquette and lack of accountability. Hello, so the night before your appointment we had a discussion where you told me that you mentioned needing a shampoo and blow dry in instagram messages a few weeks before, but you did not book that on the site as an add on and you didn't mention any of that in the notes, if you don't choose the add on, then there isn't enough time allocated on the schedule for me to finish your hair in time and still service my next client. The $35 was for arriving to the appointment without your hair prepped after I had already told you twice that I couldn’t shampoo it for you the night before and it caused a cancellation. You told me that you couldn’t afford to pay the fee and asked if we could make some sort of compromise, so therefore the only compromise I could make that would accommodate both you and my client that you inconvenienced; Was for you to allow her to come at her scheduled time, and have your hair finished afterward. I don’t understand how you feel taken advantage of when you still didn't get charged $35 and I spent the first two hours of your appointment detangling shampooing, and blow drying your hair after I said I wouldn't. Have a great one.
