Booked an appointment with the stylist and sent a deposit to confirm the appointment as listed in her rules. The week of the appointment, no contact w...as made with her and I asked for my $30 deposit back since she never gave me any service or communication. I’ve reached out to her number and she ignored me. Been getting my hair don’t for years and never had someone take my money like this. Book with someone who values your time and money. UPDATE to her response : - no you did not reach out whatsoever nor did I cancel. I reached out the day before and the day of to confirm the appointment. The number on your profile has been out of service since I first started to call and I called again today to confirm that. You have no other social media and avoid all other contact. As I said, you are a fraud. You keeping a deposit for a service I never received🤷🏽‍♀️. Don’t lie to these people and don’t lie on me. Hope you get better for the new year tho. Show more

Wow I’m sorry you feel this way, I clearly remember confirming with you the week you sent your deposit. You canceled your appointment the day of. Your deposit goes towards your hair, being that it’s provided with your service. I have no reason to steal or take money from anyone. Your deposit was non refundable due to late cancellation. I got a silk press and trim today and really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere of the salon was relaxing and Shadiah made me feel comfortable. I ...appreciate that her focus was on the health of my hair and not just achieving a style. She was gentle when detangling and i loved the conditioner she used. She also didn't use a lot of heat or heavy products on my hair. She seems to be knowledgeable about hair care and I will be scheduling with her again. Show more
