Had booked an appt with Taylia 3 weeks in advanced for haircut. An hour before my appt, she advise she was sick and needed to reschedule me. I complet...ely understood and wished her well. After that day I never heard from her on my reschedule or follow up. In response to message left by Taylia, my hair is still the same as it has been and was never cut. The situation was not handled. All over lightener

I figured the reviews on here were the reason I went with Taylia and I was debating writing one but feel like its necessary. I scheduled with Taylia f...or a color correction, I had red hair and wanted to goto brown. It didnt matter much if it was light or dark or had warm undertones due to the red and how hard it is to take out. The day of my appt we had for 1045am. Which is kind of late for a lengthy service but thats okay. Then she texted me and pushed back the appt, no problem. And then was late and i didnt get in until 1120am. She processed a color remover then a bleach bath. My hair was pretty orange at that point (because it was red) and she toned it down but it was pretty orangey still. Then she told me she needed to go pick up her daughter. I asked if we were going to trim it like we talked about so she did it really quick and totally cut it straight across and way shorter then i was wanting. She dried it and took payment. I vocally told her that i was really upset with the way it looked and it was short and dry as heck. Like terrible texture.. she told me its a process and like ran out of there with me at like 330ish. The outcome of my hair color wasnt the main reason for the poor review. My hair was so dry and left damaged afterwards I had to do my own treatment the moment i got home. Then she didnt even schedule a follow up or offer to schedule an appt to tone it down more. My hair was also soo orange and i thought i would get used to it but then i put my hair up and it was so splotchy. Then my haircut is so terrible. I was very disappointed and would never recommend this spot for any color needs. I spent $400 to go and immediately spend another $60 on a hair mask and all over color so i could goto work the next day without having orange hair. Now working with a different stylist to try and fix it. Show more

Thank you for taking the time to share your point of view - I recognize that it can be uncomfortable to share a disappointing explerience with a small business and I appreciate your feedback. You and I did discuss the process thoroughly and your hair’s pre-existing damage. Obviously this was still not conveyed to you in a way that you understood and I sincerely apologize that after our lengthy consultation and conversations throughout the service that the importance of taking this process slow while treating fragile, previously damaged hair was not communicated enough. Although I did recommend a conditioning treatment during your service and urged you to schedule a follow up visit so that I could asses and try to understand the issues when you messaged me of your concerns, it was refused by you stating that you actually really liked it once you got home. I have not heard from you since. I always guarantee my work so please reach out so we can meet a resolution. And again, thank you for the feedback. It really helps me grow and helps me find my target guests.
