Angelo’s definitely the best barber I’ve been to , I’ve been coming to Angelo since 7th grade , he’s moved from barbershops and I don’t mind the drive... to him because the quality of his cuts make it worth it , he’s always super consistent with his cuts and always makes sure I love my haircut before I get out of his chair , aside from being a great barber he makes the barbershop experience super fun it’s a perfect balance between professional and playful ! Great guy. But I’m an African American male I’ve went to him twice & hated both haircuts. Ask for a mid fade & line up recently hoping for better resu...lts. He proceeded to give me a high fade and lineup did not meet expectations. Not only that he waits until he cuts my hair to announce that he is giving me a high fade. Instead of working with what the person desires he just cut first then communicate afterwards which is a bad position to be in getting a cut. Also professionalism could be better. I went to a barber prior to him and when you get in the chair he will ask you about who you went to and throw comments out that could be shady about the work they’ve done on your head which as customer that doesn’t uplift you any higher in my book. My overall advice, Ask, Communicate, then take action, be professional regardless of what you see what a recent barber did wrong or right just tell the customer what you notice & what you can improve for them. I should have the overall decision of what style I want not what the barber feels like doing. Show more
