I've been going to the same shop in Milwaukee off and on for about 20 years. I really do like that shop, but the stylists are not always friendly, and... my head tends to be in a lot of pain from how rough they are while braiding. When I decided to get my hair braided this time around, I wanted to try a new place and hope for good results. I found Penda Styles through a Google search. Their ratings were high, so I crossed my fingers and made an appointment. Everything about my experience was wonderful! Penda communicated with me ahead of time to learn what I wanted and then helped me refine my hairstyle goals when I arrived. They were constantly cleaning, which was fabulous (the shop I normally go to was always messy). The girl who did my goddess box braids had me done in under 5 hours, and my head doesn't hurt at all! The quality came out wonderful, even better than I expected. And for icing on the cake, they had no qualms about being paid digitally. Every touchpoint from beginning to end was truly an enjoyable experience! I highly recommend Penda Styles for your hairbraiding needs! The experience was better than I could have hoped for.
