Nick is amazingly talented. He has both a salon and barber's license. I am a woman with a precision short haircut; it's hard to get my hair just rig...ht. I noticed somebody's haircut (an SF male) and figured that person could cut my hair well too. I asked who had cut his hair and went from there.
