She’s professional has been my stylist for 8 years & is dedicated to her craft, I mostly appreciate and love that she will recom...mend you when a trim, protein, steam treatment or a certain style is needed to keep your NATURAL HAIR HEALTHY not a lot of stylist will do that ! & I suffer from dry scalp and was told to get a certain shampoo/conditioner and it cleared right up and is way better for my hair also all thanks to PASSION ! Dates on photos I would like to start by saying I didn’t have any issues with her up until 12/18/24. I’ve been a loyal client getting my natural hair ...and braids done by her for the past 3-4 years maybe longer. So I got my routine silk press with trim on 11/06 (photo) and then I got another silk press with another trim and for the first time ever I got a steam treatment on 11/27 (photo). After that I felt like my hair started shedding after that steam treatment. A photo of me on 12/01 my hair was still uneven length and still there was no change in length even though it was shedding. I was still wrapping my hair up every night using a silk satin scarf, silk satin bonnet with silk satin pillow case. I haven’t used any heat on my hair, no change in diet, not taking any medication and I don’t use edge control. I just had a physical at the doctor on 12/9/24 and I’m healthy. Just saying because she tried to blame it on a diet change. I’ve been using the same hair regimen and same products that has cause my hair to grow the past couple of years. So 5 days before my routine silk press on 12/18/24. I washed my hair, used a leave in conditioner, cream based moisturizer, curling custard, styling gel and hair oil. Twisted it in two strands and wrap it up and let it air dry. All products that I have been using and have previously used for years before for a wash & go (photo). I wore my hair like that for 2days. 3days before 12/18 I put my hair in a natural ponytail meaning my hair was curly in a ponytail. Then 12/18 came for my hair appointment. I went to passion with uneven hair and I left with even hair. I DID NOT tell her to cut my hair unless split ends needed to be clipped which I didn’t have any. When I left my hair was all evenly cut. She cut my hair in the front to evenly match my hair in the back because it’s shorter. When I said something about it she became instantly combative and wanted to play the blame game saying she didn’t cut my hair at all saying that since I asked her about my hair shedding, that shedding is why my hair is evenly short now. Hence my hair started shedding after my 1st ever steam treatment she did. How does your hair shed evenly? If she didn’t cut my hair at all like she claim why she still charge me for a trim then…She is claiming she did not cut my hair at all so someone explain how your hair goes from uneven, to perfectly even without being cut? When I explained to her I’m upset right now I need some time to compose myself before speaking with her she claimed I was being childish and was removing me as a client. As you can also see on my previous review on 07/24 when she did my silk press my hair was also layered cut because it was uneven. When I asked about this incident she could have professionally just said “oh I cut it all evenly so it can grow out all together and I know you didn’t ask for it but I think it would be the best thing to do for your hair right now” and “so it can all grow as one length and healthy” but instead she wanted to argue saying oh I did something to my own hair. So, how do I do something to my own hair for it to be perfectly even…and since I didn’t answer the phone for her because I’m visibly upset she decided to call me names and block me. I decided to write this review because it’s not about the incident at those point, hair will grow back it’s about the principle she lack accountability, likes to argue, and if you don’t like her service she refuses to apologize. Then if you don’t argue with her she calls you names. She clearly does what she wants to do to your hair then if you don’t like it, she blames you and block you. If I’m paying you 200 for a silk press I would like my hair to be done like normally. she isn’t a professional person she tries to portray that until you say you don’t like her work then she switches up on. I don’t recommend her because if you would treat a loyal client like this after asking you about their hair. Show more

Passion made the process very easy from telling me where to buy the hair and the net, to explaining to me 100 ti...mes what co-wash meant, up until the moment I sat in her chair. I don’t know who was more excited her on myself. But baby lemme tell y’all, she did her THANG as usual. I fell in love the moment, and I saw myself in a mirror and I received plenty of compliments.
