    • 1st Pitching Lesson (Overview)

      This first lesson allows me to observe the pitcher’s natural mechanics, personal warm-ups, & most importantly the pitches she acquires.

      These are pitchers who are learning to pitch or pitchers who only acquire fastball and/or change-up. (Usually 10U)

      These are pitchers who are a little more experienced, and a acquire movement pitches, yet are still learning to dominate them (i.e. learning grip, footing, follow-through mechanics). Usually 14U.

      These are pitchers with high school/college level experience. Acquiring fastball, change up, and multiple movement pitches. Pitchers at this level are already dominating fastball. Note: These pitchers will be prioritized with speed and movement locations.

      For this lesson, we break down the swing from start to finish. Meaning, that it will solely focus on basic key mechanics to create the perfect swing.

      This lesson will be given after batters' have taken their first mechanical breakdown of their swing. Once players understand and have dominated basic mechanics, lesson focus will move onto power-hitting. Goal: for players to understand and focus on power-loading, entering the slot position, staying inside the ball, extension, and following through to keep the perfect swing.

      This lesson DOES NOT focus on basic mechanics or power hitting drills. This lesson solely focuses on live hitting with real live-pitching from yours truly. NOTE: This lesson is only given when players have dominated basic key mechanics and have a perfect understanding of power-hitting expectations.
