After my silk press, my hair was left so greasy that it didn't move. I had to get it re-done the next day. Huge disappointment. I literally cried. Bec...ause it was almost 100 dollars. As a stylist, if you can not do every type of hair, you should get educated on it before you list services available. Also, on speaker phone the whole time and my hair wasn't washed correctly because you were too busy on the phone. Really bad experience. Your advice was all wrong. It's not because my hair was dry or is damaged. You just didn't know how to do my type of hair. I just received a silk press two weeks before I saw you, and it was beautiful and flowing right. Im sorry I hurt YOUR feelings, but that's the truth about how I feel, and I have a right to my opinion and my review. And, truthfully, you being on the phone with anyone for their entire appointment is unprofessional regardless of who it is. I am also a veteran, and I understand how imperative it is to keep your appts with the VA, but you could have maybe considered reaching out to me to possibly reschedule. You had no problem texting me to come 45 minutes after my scheduled appt time. I also told you that my hair didn't feel right on one side after the wash. You immediately dismissed me and said it was all good. So, please stop texting my personal number. I also never asked for the oil you gave me, i literally threw it out when i returned home because it is too heavy for my hair. You had another client in your chair already, and i was actually trying to be the professional one then, so I left quickly without any reaction at that moment. That is what you saw when I left. It surely was not joy or satisfaction. Not all stylists can do mixed hair. And that's just what it is. I understand you want to continually tell me about my thoroughly damaged hair and what's dangerous for me but I strongly feel the only real dangerous thing here is no accountability when it comes to admitting mistakes with a womens crown and glory which is her hair. If your pride is bigger than your business, then you win, but neither of us comes out on top in this situation. But thank you for your advice. Show more

Thanks for your review. Actually when you came for your appointment, i was on the phone with VA voc rehabilitation counselor, which was a video appointment that I could not cancel or turn off. I DID apologize and asked if I was ok if I paused while I finished. Then it was not grease, it was growth and scalp oil that I put on your scalp because your scalp and hairbis dry and damaged. I even gave you a free sample to take with you. I even instructed you to not dona silk press every week because it is not going to help your damaged hair but make it worse. I also have done plenty of work on different ppl hair. I apologize you cried but your reaction leaving wasn't crying. You could have said something before byou left and i could have rewashed and pressed without putting the stuff to help your scalp and hair on you. My feelings not hurt, was just giving my feedback. It probably was flowy but it's not safe to get a silk press every week, which is why it's damaged. It's honestly not about the texture of your hair. Also because your hair was cleaned good, which is why I said it was good. I have mixed clients, white and Asian clients. Again I be apologize for the service. Have a blessed day.
