Do not take new puppies here! I thought based on the philosophy they would make our first nail trim experience a good one. Instead - it was traumatic.... While staff are friendly they did nothing to make the experience good. In fact they just did it in the lobby - basically hold her down while other dogs were running a muck. I’m so upset that my puppy’s first experience at grooming was so bad bc now I have to do so much work to make it a safe experience. So disappointed Show more

AMAZING. Everything from booking to pick up was so easy. I brought my two dogs in for a full grooming and not only did they look amazing they had a gr...eat time!! One of our dogs isn’t the easier to deal with and this was the first grooming experience he did not come home “upset”!! He was actually running around the store when I picked him up! I loved it! My dog is no longer a “beauty school dropout”! Honey, my 16 pound rescue can be skittish and snap at people who make sudden movements, especially wi...th me (very protective pup). I tried several other establishments and Honey did not have good experiences. So, I took to bathing her myself and getting her nails clipped by the vet. When Damien (who owns Picasso’s Nail Artistry and is the BEST) told me his fiancé was opening “The Pretty Paw”, I had to see if they would try to pamper my dog. All of my apprehensions were put to rest upon first meeting Brian. He is so personable and welcoming. The workings of the spa are transparent. You are given very detailed paperwork to fill out and agree to. This is for the safety of the animals and staff. The physical condition of the spa is spotless and open so you can see your fur baby. They have numerous service options, which is great for all different needs. I was optimistic and booked a pampered package. Well, upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by Brian and our groomer, Casey. They were both incredibly calm and gentle, getting Honey to sniff them and walk around the spa to make her comfortable. This, in turn made me comfortable. As Casey took Honey into the spa area, Brian encouraged me to stay as long as I liked. After about 10 minutes, Brian went into the spa area and came back with a positive update. At this point, I decided to head home and wait for the call for pick up. Brian called excitedly about 40 minutes later. He shared that Honey did beautifully and was all ready for pickup. Upon my arrival back at the storefront, Honey was on her way out of the spa area. She was wagging her tail and shaking her booty! She was so happy! I could tell she had a great experience. Casey said she was great. That was all I needed to hear. I booked Honey’s next appointment. We had an excellent experience at Pretty paws with our collie/Shepard mix. She is a very anxious dog in need of a bath, deshedding and trim. The groom...ers Casey and Tracey were excellent with our little bundle. She looks gorgeous after the trim and we have far fewer Harley tumble weeds in the house. Would recommend and will use again.
