I had a wonderful experience and couldn’t be happier with my hair! I went in thinking the appointment would take around 4 hours, but she was so profes...sional and efficient that it was done in just 2.5 hours — without feeling rushed at all. She went straight to work, knew exactly what she was doing, and the entire process was smooth and comfortable. Most importantly, my hair came out absolutely fabulous. The braids are neat, beautiful, and exactly what I wanted. I felt confident, cared for, and truly impressed by her skill and time management. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend her to anyone looking for quality braiding done right!

If you’re not already going to African Braids by Lima, this is your sign to start! I’ve been getting my hair done by Lima for over a year now, and eve...ry single time I leave, I’m blown away by the precision, neatness, and quality of their work. Lima is truly a sweetheart — always on time, super professional, and flexible with scheduling when needed. I actually moved about an hour away from San Francisco and still make the drive to her shop because it’s that worth it. My braids last a long time, and I get constant compliments on how great they look. Plus, she has Wi-Fi in the shop, so I can work or catch up on shows while getting my hair done. I recommend her to anyone and everyone who asks — especially if you’re thinking about getting goddess or boho braids. You will not be disappointed!

Let me just say…once Lima does your hair, you’ll never want another braider. I have super thick 4C hair and every time she braids it only take 4-4.5 h...ours when it usually takes others 8+. She is very compassionate with me being tender headed. My braids last 3-4 months. Best braided in SF!
