My experience here was terrible the finished product of my hair was awful, I came in to get two cornrows something simple and I was extremely disappoi...nted with how my hair turned out. One cornrow was higher then the other so my braids came out looking very crooked, I immediately went home to take out the braids. I’ve never had my hair done so poorly before. I highly suggest you go somewhere else to get your hair done because they can not do hair here! Show more

Hair looks great. Services needs work. Informed the owner that her page needs to be updated due to pricing stating a different amount than finding out... a different price in person. Also, if knowing the stylist is running behind with a client there already, it makes a difference to inform your next appointment ahead of time, instead of sitting and waiting for an hour or more. I've gotten so many compliments for the 2 corn rows with burgundy streaks! The braider did a great job!

They work fast and very meticulously! Price was just right too! UPDATE:. I've been back to these ladies a couple of times since my 1st review. They'...re still very lovely people and the finished product has always looked good! I went again very recently and was a bit disappointed this time so, I'm taking off 1 star. The lady doing my hair, while super sweet, pulled and tugged on my fine relaxed strands pretty dang hard. At first I thought it was just the braid hair she was pulling and that she had added it to anchor and protect my own hair, but it wasn't, she did not add any braid hair this time. She just was not as gentle as I'd been used to over the years. She also ran a fine tooth comb through parts of my hair! Unfortunately, I saw some breakage and loss of strands. I had already washed, conditioned and thoroughly de-tangled my hair with a wide tooth comb before the appt. I use braids to help grow out my hair and keep it healthy, not just to look fashionable. I also told the lady that I was very tender headed on top of my head and she still pulled kind of hard. I could tell she did try to ease up though. I just wish they'd ask questions before getting started on our heads and that they realize after already being told we're growing our hair that it's very important not to experience any unnecessary hair loss. I think it's very important to care for the actual hair of the client, not just the braids. I'll be in this protective style for quite some time and I'm hopeful my hair will recover and thrive. I'm praying it won't look thin and stringy because I could not tell how much of it was ripped out. The next time I go to any braider, I want a full consultation done first! Show more
