This review is for BOOKSY (not the stylist) since y'all ruined my teens hair experience. I booked the 330pm spot, and I even got an email and text say...ing it was confirmed. I drove from southeast Texas (2 hrs) only to get there and be told my appt is NOT on the books. The stylist was as surprised as I was. She said this happened to someone else as well. I walked into her suite thinking my daughter was about to get her hair done. Mrs. Barbara had NO available appts. She was overbooked. The appts shouldn't have even been LISTED since they were NOT available. I will NEVER use Booksy again. I keep getting emails to leave a review, so here it is. My daughter's bday is tomorrow . This would have been her first salon experience and also her first silk press. It was an upsetting walk back to the car to say the least. That left me scrambling for a last min hair appt, that never happened. Her hair isn't done. It's a holiday weekend, so everyone is booked up or closed. DO NOT USE BOOKSY!! use any app BUT this one. From the reviews I've read, Barbara is a miracle worker, phenomenon. It's unfortunate Booksy ruined what could have been a good experience ! Show more

She is a wonderful hairstylist as soon as you walk into her sal...on you feel welcomed it’s like your visiting your mother or grandma. She will send you out the door with bone straight hair and a good conversation. A bonus is the snacks and drinks she offers you for free and her well kept salon. Everything was excellent! Barbara was very nice and comforting, explaining the whole process and making sure I was comfortable along the way. I have n...ever had my hair completed so well and so fast! My hair is very long and thick and it took only 2 hours. I'm used to blocking off a whole day at other salons. She did have another client at the same time but it didn't affect my experience and I didn't feel like I was ever just sitting around. I will definitely be back! Show more

I got a call from the lady on the day of my appointment to confirm that I was still coming, I told her yes. I drove 45 minutes and when I got there sh...e told me that her water was off and she didnt have a way to get in touch with me…she called me that morning so she did in fact have a way to contact me.
