Before my visit, I sent pictures of the hairstyle I envisioned—a Mohawk with twists in the middle for a fuller look. The stylist confirmed she underst...ood the style and even created a separate booking option specifically for “Mohawk with twists in the middle,” which gave me confidence that she could deliver the look I wanted. Unfortunately, the end result didn’t meet my expectations, which left me feeling frustrated. When the style was completed, I noticed that the middle section was braided instead of twisted, which wasn’t what I had requested. I brought this up, and while the stylist offered to fix it, the approach felt rushed and didn’t fully address the issue. Instead of brushing out the braids and starting fresh to create the fuller look shown in the pictures, she undid 4 out of 6 braids in the middle of my head and for each braid split it into two twists on the same part line. This adjustment didn’t create the fullness I was looking for and didn’t align with the style we had discussed. I truly appreciate the stylist’s willingness to listen and try to make things right, and I know she cared about ensuring I was happy with my hair. However, I feel that more attention to detail and a closer commitment to matching the client’s vision would have made a big difference. Show more
