I started my loc journey in January 2023 with coils. Back then, I had a stylist who I’d ask questions about the process—but she wasn’t even familiar w...ith the term budding, so I realized she wasn’t a true Loctician. In August 2024, I found someone new. She had talent, but she was always juggling multiple clients at once, and I didn’t feel like I was getting the attention my hair needed. A couple of weeks ago, I had my first appointment with Ms. Deyamon—and I wish I had found her at the beginning of my journey. I’ve never received so many compliments on my hair since I started growing it out. She knows what she’s doing, she makes you feel comfortable in the chair, and confident when you walk out.
