My experience was with Esther and she was awesome!! She answered when I called or called back in a timely manner when she became available. Punctualit...y is a big thing for me and she was there before me. I hate when stylits are rushing in late, so it was refreshing for her to be responsible with time. She listened to my requests and made me feel heard. She took her time to reiterate what I was requesting before proceeding at every step. Overall it was a great experience and I left the salon looking cute with a fresh touchup and cut. Show more
Balayage

It might have been an off day for Esther but I had a terrible experience. She spent my entire appointment talking to a man in the salon and I had foil... in front of my face for over an hour. I asked for balayage but was given way too much blonde almost all the way to my roots that made it look like bad grown out highlights with really harsh lines. I had to walk out after 4 hours with wet hair because she still hadn't finished and then she charged me $280. When I booked through booksy it said balayage was $160 (20% discount). When I told her about the price I expected to pay she said I asked for color and a cut and that was the extra cost and didn't know anything about the discount. I pulled it up and showed her on my phone and she said they must have added the discount but that it shouldn't be on there. I had to go to another salon to get it fixed because it was that bad. Unfortunately the entire experience was stressful and extremely costly. I attached pictures of what I wanted it to look like and what I received. After Response: You're correct, I was in a hurry since I got there because I knew it wasn't going how it was supposed to go. I asked you if you were going to add the dark with the blonde to blend it nicely and you said that's not how you do it. It's very stressful to sit for hours knowing that it's not what you want but you never asked me anything until it was done because you were to busy talking to someone else even after I questioned you several times. I also asked how long it would take and you said I would be done by 2 because you had another appointment at 2. I walked out at 2:30 and your other client had been sitting and waiting. You're also correct it's not supposed to be even lines but that's what I got straight lines at the top like grown out highlights. I was actually going to let it go but you decided to text me tonight and say the cut and color cost more. People can see your work from the pictures and judge for themselves. I understand the chemicals cost money and would be fine paying for that but $280 is a ridiculous amount for almost anything. Show more

You added color and cut and balayage starts at 160. Depending on length of hair the price goes up. About the discount I have a message where I texted you if you wanted me to refund the 20% discount back to your card and I didnt get a respond from you. A balayage is not an even color. It cant have even lines. I asked and showed you the color of blonde and you picked that same exact blonde. Im sorry you didnt like it. But my time and chemical is worth too. It was just a balayage and you asked to color roots and the rest of hair dark brown and a cut too, that added more to the price. You walked out with wet hair because you were in a hurry since you got there.
