4.5/5 ⭐️'s! Tay is great at what she does! Great communication, welcoming environment, and straight to business. I got microlocs installed in the 2 da...y time frame and was happy with the results. I cant wait to see how they mature! 😍 Just one thing about the gel used. In my opinion, I feel like the gel is a bit overused. I get that we want clean parts, we love that! But for me, it turned out to be excessive in hindsight and ended up seemingly building up, flaking a lot (even though she said it was not going to do that) and becoming very sticky from root to tip a week later. My scalp also had a reaction either to the gel and/or the tension in some areas, so a mix of that wasnt a fun time for me! 😭

Your feedback is definitely noted, and I’ll be more mindful with my gel application for future installs. The gel is used to keep the parts clean, but I understand it may have been a bit much in certain areas or didn’t react well with your skin or hair—and that’s completely understandable.
