Review – July 17, 2025 During my previous three visits to the salon, I always had a very pleasant experience. However, on this last occasion, I was t...reated in an extremely unpleasant way by the salon owner, Yubelky — a woman with very short, blonde-dyed hair. It all began when I approached the counter to make my payment. I made a comment about my nails and how happy I was with the change I had made. She abruptly replied, “One moment.” Then she asked how I was going to pay, and I mentioned I had a gift card. She responded with attitude, “Yes, if it has money on it, but you’ll be charged a fee.” I explained that it had just been given to me. When I tried to use the card, I realized it didn’t have a scan or tap code, so I asked if they had a machine to insert the card. She raised her voice and very rudely replied, “That’s the most modern machine we have — what is it that you want?” At that point, I decided to pay in cash to avoid any further discomfort. I asked if she needed my phone number, and again, with a rude and arrogant tone, she said, “That gets asked at the end.” It was clear that everyone around noticed the way she was speaking to me. I was honestly stunned by her tone and expressions. I stood there, speechless for a moment, trying to stay calm and respond respectfully to avoid lowering myself to her level. After handing her the cash, I asked if I needed to give her more, and she replied, “When you pay cash, the amount is different — there’s no tax.” I thanked her and left the place feeling stressed and humiliated. Honestly, I don’t understand why I was treated with such aggression. I’ve been to the salon four times, always pay what’s owed, and I leave generous tips (never less than $20). It’s truly unfortunate that a business that depends on customers doesn’t prioritize respectful and professional service. This kind of behavior creates a toxic environment. Owning a business also requires education and ethics. I don’t know what her academic background is, but it’s clear she lacks proper training in customer service. I chose not to respond to her in the same tone, because we are not the same. I don’t treat people based on how my day is going. As a piece of advice, I suggest she seek better education in customer service and leadership. I truly hope the way she treated me is not how she treats her employees. It must be difficult to work for someone who’s kind one day and hostile the next for no reason. Her attitude was rude and arrogant. She needs to learn how to handle herself with more respect and professionalism toward the people who keep her business running: the customers. Show more

Good afternoon Gisselle. I am truly appalled at this review as non of what you have said absolutely happen. I will not engage in this fictitious review and what I believe attack on my character. Maybe you were the one not feeling your normal self when you came to the salon. I treat all my customers with the utmost respect as it is not a secret we have been pillars of our community and in business in this town for over 20 years. I will not sit and discuss all of my accolades here to appease you and demonstrate my level of education. But what I can say is a shame how such a pleasant looking young woman tries to bring a business down based on her feeling and emotions.
