This was actually a very frustrating experience that ended with me heading out for my trip this weeknd without my hair done. I texted Mei on Sunday be...fore booking a wash, deep condition, and protective style. I paid the deposit, and the appointment was confirmed in Booksy. When I arrived for my appointment, she mentioned that she had refunded the deposit and did not have an appointment at my scheduled time. She claimed that someone called as me (but from a different phone number), and claimed I didn't have money for the service (I'd already paid the deposit), so she'd processed a refund. Instead of honoring the appointment, which was never cancelled and still on the calendar, she proceeded to double down that she would not be able to do my hair because she'd given someone else my slot. All in all, I suspect she got me confused with a different client. My appointment should have been honored since I was there at the scheduled time, the event was still scheduled in Booksy (ie not cancelled), and had pre-paid the deposit (50% of the service). Instead she prioritized another client over me. I won't even bother trying to reschedule. Show more
