I have been going to Avalon nails for about 3/4 years. All the reviews are true. The prices are absurd and not fully communicated, sometimes you wait ...long even with an appointment, or you get there & find out the appointment was cancelled. I have never complained because the tech I go to’s talent always outweighed the cons. However these past 5 times that I have gone to Avalon nails the tech is watching TV shows on her phone & not paying much attention to me & what I am saying to her. Today I was charged $80 for an acrylic overlay over my short natural nails with French design. The last time I did this it was $65. Every time I go I never know how much my nails are going to be & it is at the point that it is just not worth it anymore. Show more

I initially told them I would return to have my lashes removed, but I've decided it's not worth it. Instead, I'll leave a review. As a first-time cust...omer, I booked an appointment for classic lashes at the advertised price of $100. However, after my appointment, they informed me the cost was actually $120. I mentioned that their listing showed $100, but I paid the $120 to avoid a confrontation. Later, I realized this was unfair, so I called them to express my concerns. I explained that when I booked the appointment on May 26th, the price was clearly stated as $100, and I even have pictures to prove it. It's not about the extra cost; it's about the inconsistency between what was advertised and what I was charged. The front desk worker claimed they've been trying to update the price for a while, but it seems suspicious that the change happened only after I brought it up. This feels dishonest to me, and I take my hard-earned money seriously, regardless of the amount. Additionally, I arrived at 12:03 and left by 1:09, meaning the service lasted barely over an hour. I paid for a full service but didn't receive one, which is frustrating. My lashes look dry and sparse, almost as if there are no lashes at all. Show more
