I want to leave this review because I want stylist to understand they are providing serve to us as clients. The prices that we pay as a customers for ...our hair should not be taken for granted. This was my daughter’s first experience with this stylist, and she made her feel very uncomfortable by making comments about her hair being matted. She told her that she needed to help her untangle it and that she also needed call me in there to also help. Mind you, she was just coming out of braids. The comments should have not been directed towards a child. Anything that needed to be said should have been addressed with me as the parent. Usually when I book with a new stylist, they require a consultation or they reach out to you to see what services you need or what condition your hair is in. That did not happen with this stylists. We arrived earlier than our scheduled appointment in order for me to discuss my daughter’s hair. The stylist was an hour late, and then complained because she needed additional time for my daughter’s hair. I became very frustrated with this stylist because she acted as if she was doing us a favor. Paying $200 +$27 (Tip) is far from a favor. If you don’t have the patience to do hair, please close your doors and know that I will never be back. Show more

Thank you for your feedback. I understand that everyone has different expectations when booking a service, and I always aim to deliver a professional experience rooted in transparency and efficiency. For clarity, I do not offer services for braiding and detangling matted hair. It is essential that hair is detangled before the appointment. Additional time and effort was required to detangle, matted hair which can impact the schedule and overall flow of the service. It is common for stylists to inform the client (or their guardian) about the necessary steps to proceed effectively. While I make every effort to communicate expectations in advance, clients are also encouraged to reach out with questions prior to their visit. I value professionalism and efficiency in my work, and I expect mutual respect throughout the client experience. Wishing you all the best moving forward.

Finally! A beautician who 1) fully understands she's in a service industry 2) and is passionate about full service quality care (do not expect an in/o...ut cut and style here). Eva delivers service with standards. You know how many stylists these days ask you to wash your own hair... then dry cut your hair and act like they are doing you a favor?...not Eva. She understands she is delivering a service to you and that while you have many choices on where to spend your money, you chose her. So refreshing! After being disappointed by other stylists, I decided to give Eva a try. I'm so glad I did! Why? Eva understands that your stylist is... trained to determine if your hair is truly clean (vs simply washed), must analyze the condition of your hair AND scalp (both wet and dry), and can determine if your hair needs X treament. I recently found Textures hair studio and I had my roots touched up with color, then trim and silk press. I enjoyed my salon visit from begin to end.... The deep conditioning treatment and the overall technique that Ms. Eva used is on point. The salon atmosphere was very nice. She truly knows hair and her techniques are great! My service was a little longer than expected since there were few more clients ahead of me but other than that I am a happy customer and will be going back soon. I want to give this a try to help my hair recover from color abuse, dryness and breakage. Show more

This is my 6th visit, and I continue to be extremely genuinely satisfied with the outcome of my hair. I started the keratin complex smoothing treatmen...t, and I am highly impressed with the outcome. My hair is more flowing, soft and manageable. My fine, natural textured hair feels and looks more full. I highly recommend this product for anyone who wants to manage their natural hair without harsh chemicals. Ms Eva is really knowledgeable and professional in her work.
