I had the scalp treatment with a silk press and trim. While the stylist was very nice, it seemed as if she was complaining about the service to her co...workers. I asked about it and she went on to say she specializes in short cuts and she wasn’t saying it in a negative manner. The treatment was amazing. No issues there. However, she seemed very rushed. My silk press wasn’t the best. It was flat (as if I’ve slept on it) and not all pieces were curled. Unfortunately, she gelled my edges down before asking my preference. I hate edge control when I get a silk press. At most, a very lite wax on my edges to hold them in place. I don’t think this press will make it through the week unfortunately. I wouldn’t write the salon off. Just seems like I was assigned a cosmetologist that does not specialize in the requested service. If I had a short cut, I’m sure she would have knocked it out the park. Show more
