I had a devastating experience at Xtreme Hair. First my tape in extension (Strands of Love hair and tape) completely fell out of my hair, the stylist... encouraged me to buy tape on Shein rather. So why is it R35 per retape on Booksy if she uses Shein tape? At the same appointment I went in for a routine bleaching, but what I left with when I saw my hair after the extensions (40 tapes) fell out and I could actually see, was irreparable damage to my hair. The stylist overprocessed the bleach, causing my hair to literally burn off. Even more disheartening than the physical damage was the lack of compassion and concern from the staff. They showed no empathy for what had happened, and there was no effort to offer a genuine apology, repair treatment ( except after I asked then I must book a further R350 treatment), or any type of solution. Instead, they seemed indifferent, as if damaging someone's hair beyond repair was just another day at work. Losing my hair has affected me not just physically but emotionally, and to be treated so dismissively in such a vulnerable moment was truly upsetting. I would not wish this experience on anyone. Please think twice before trusting this salon with your hair. Show more
