The decor is a perfect blend of nostalgia, with an old-school Raleigh BMX bike adorning the wall, that always catches my eye, adding a unique charm to the shop. James is always attentive, genuinely listening to his clients and ensuring they leave feeling their best. Each appointment feels like a mini-escape from the daily grind. Evening if it’s just a quick cut or a hot towel shave with nice little Bourbon in the rocks…. can't wait to come back next month for another fantastic haircut and some good old uplifting conversation. I've met James in my last Cape Town stay and keep coming back him probably more often than realistically needed. James is the best barber I've ever ...experienced. Not just skilled technically but seriously considers what works for you, for your personality and your context, how hair contributes to your identity. He always nudges gently to be a little more edgy and rebellious, so I don't just look objectively better, I feel better! Highly recommended. He doesn't just trim my hair, he trims my soul! Show more

The search is over. I have been looking for at least 5 years for a barber who gives me a haircut I actually like, and where I don't leave disappointed.... The experience at Harri's, by James, is second. to. none. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by a beautifully curated space, with awesome music lilting through the air -- the offer of a coffee or a whiskey; James receives you with such hospitality, care and friendliness; and this is all before the haircut. The only way I can describe it is that you can feel the years of experience in every single cut, every single movement. Meticulous detail; and you get exactly what you asked for, or better... It is my second time coming here (I will now never go anywhere else) and I got the cut and shave combo; I leave feeling refreshed, relaxed and like I don't have to worry about my hair anymore. You will come a stranger and leave a friend (looking and feeling much better than you did when you walked in!) Thank you James! Show more
