Obsessed is an understatement!! Best salon I have been to…. I have been going to Charlize for about 3 years now and every time I leave I feel like a m...illion dollars. Her skills are unmatched. The salon is fresh and always smells amazing…. Complimentary tea and coffee. I get excited every time I go…. I get my nails done every 2 weeks not only for my nails but love seeing the girls too. Love seeing Charlize every month, it’s like a little treat for myself! A lil self-care if you may. Never have any complaints! Charlize is super quick when it comes to doing my nails and really puts in effort with nail art (see photos!) it is absolutely fantastic! She is so artistic and creative. I USED TO enjoy doing my nails at Charlize overlooking small issues. I was impressed by her dedication as a young lady fresh out of school starting a ...business. At first I really enjoyed doing my nails there. But one day Charlize told me I had a nail fungus on my toenails. It was odd that she mentioned her other customers also had nail fungus. I immediately went to the doctor to have this checked out & did everything possible to deal with it. I cannot say for sure what it was as I saw a homeopath afterwards who said it was a bacteria that causes nail lifting. In over 15 years of doing my nails I never experienced this. Another thing worth mentioning is that as a young nail technician she takes very long. I booked for nail art a few times & we could not do it because she took too long with my nails. It was frustrating spending so much time with a technician when you know it can be done in half the time. This salon is in her home so expect a homely environment. No coffee / tea / drinks included in the package. This was disappointing as going to do my nails should be a special occasion of treats & spoils for myself. The nail technicians also vape while doing your nails. The last time I visited the salon, it did not smell very good. Oddly enough when I enquired about this smell I was requested not to return to the salon. Dropping me in festive season is uncalled for. And then lastly; always remember when people talk to you about other people they will also talk to others about you. Show more

I love doing my nails at Charlize. She is a dedicated & professional nail technician & business owner. Going to visit Charlize is always a great exper...ience where I walk out with a smile. She takes great care of my nails. Her attention to detail is something I really like as my nails are always super neat. I also admire her for starting a business in a difficult economic time & really putting her all into it. This is a great example to follow. We should learn from her to create our own opportunities instead of waiting for opportunities to come to us. An all round great experience. And last bit not least whenever there is any issue she responds & assess & fix the situation with no fuss. Show more
