Beautiful balayage blending and colour matching by Yo. :) She defi...nitely knows what she's doing when it comes to the balayage colours. Final costing for balayage should be checked upfront as originally discussed costing was almost doubled due to treatments/ services that were not asked for. Pricing for balayage cannot be compared to the other prices on the website. Overall happy with the colour and cut of my hair but the cost of the treatments and other services that could not be broken down in a quote were somewhat disappointing for a first experience at this salon. Treatment did not appear to have any affect on the texture and quality of my hair after the blonde. Thus the cost being close to triple a normal balayage in SA was difficult to justify. Show more

Honestly only added one star because Natasha was an absolute sweetheart! But, it seems that she doesn't have much experience with curls. If you have ...curly hair, you likely know that when your hair gets cut, it's dried and straightened so it can be properly cut. She left is wet and cut it as it was curling. Which made for a rather choppy cut with a lot of "happe". I asked for about 4cm off, I'm not certain how much she cut off, but it was slightly above the end of my back when straightened. And now reaches right above my mid-back. I'm assuming this was due to her cutting it while it was in the process of curling again. I also asked for layers, which she said she could do. We were aiming for more volume. My layers don't blend into each other, rather they lay on top of each other. (not the way you'd like for them to.) After straightening my hair I realised that the layers are more suited to straight hair. So yes, if you have curly hair, I wouldn't recommend booking with Natasha. Natasha does a great job for those with non-textured hair based on what I've seen and heard. Definitely would recommend for those with straight hair. EDIT : Despite booking for a cut & blow, we only got a cut and treatment (for dandruff) which worked well. She said she wasn't going to blow wave my hair, and I left the salon with damp hair. EDIT 2 : (last line before the first edit)—This does NOT reflect on the whole company, as there are different hairstylists with different skill sets. I did not confront Natasha about this on my own, considering I have poor confrontation skills. I just believe that Natasha could definitely work on her ability to work with textured hair. Show more
