My appointment was scheduled for 09:00-10:15. I arrived promptly only to find that the salon was not yet open. One of the lash techs plus one client w...ere standing outside the locked salon. The lash tech who held the key arrived at approximately 09:12. After the salon was opened, the other client and I then waited in the lobby seemingly whilst the lash techs prepare the service area. My appointment started at approximately 09:18, nearly twenty minutes after the scheduled appointment. In terms of the salon’s policy, if the client is late by 15 minutes then they will incur a R150 late penalty fee, and R100 thereafter for the every 10 minutes that passes. My issue is that had I been 18 minutes late, as was the case here due to the lateness of the lash tech, I would have incurred at least a R150 late penalty fee. It seems the imposition of the late penalty is one sided. It was also not the first time I was made to wait due to the lateness of a lash tech. Show more

Please don’t use Brand new glue on clients. It’s excruciatingly painful and uncomfortable to sit through 1-2hours of burning sensation. Lashes are mea...nt to be but not to the point where closing your eyes is uncomfortable. Please make sure that this isn’t a regular occurrence. I was happy with my set but not my experience or how my eyes felt afterwards. They have a cloudy look and it doesn’t look normal Show more
