I recommend communicating clearly with her about how much hair you want to cut or She will just start cutting without opening the discussion with y...ou first, which led to me losing months of hard-earned hair growth. I take great care of my hair: I don't use any heat, only the best salon-quality shampoo and conditioner, and I apply a protein mask weekly. I color my hair every four months and sleep on a silk pillow. After the initial shock wore off, I confronted her about the cut, and her response was simply, "I'm sorry, I cut what was needed." I'm not one to usually leave reviews, but I feel compelled to express my disappointment. After months of trusting Tugieda with my hair and sharing my growth goals (she was fully aware of this goal ), I am incredibly upset by this experience especially after her nonchalant response. I don't recall Tugieda asking me ONCE , how much of my hair I would like her to cut. NOT ONCE. Show more

My response was far from “nonchalant” i consult with every client before I start, as I did with you too. I refreshed your Devacut as requested & I mentioned that I’ll need to cut a bit more as I haven’t seen you for a while & “cutting what was needed” I even mentioned that your curl pattern will have a lot more shrinkage after the cut. I would never deliberately sabotage anyone🙏🏽 Again, my apologies that you are unhappy.

The owner of the salon and the girls who work there are angels. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I enjoyed every moment. It’s quite a convenient ...space since there’s a car wash and a 420 cafe. You can get a drink, snack or even a little smoke 🤭 while your treatment or colour processes. Tugiedah is amazing at what she does and clearly is passionate about it. She’s not only a stylist but an advocate for natural hair which is refreshing, she asks how you like to wear your hair so she can tailor your treatment plan long term. To add, she teaches you how to style and take care of your hair at home. I’m really happy about my colour and length and also if you can, buy her products.
