I’ve been a long-time customer of BUnique and it used to be one of my favorite spots to get my nails done. Unfortunately, my recent experience has lef...t me quite disappointed. It feels as though the service quality has gone backwards. First, I tried calling four times before anyone picked up the phone. Upon arrival, the reception was extremely unprofessional. There were three of us waiting with no one at the desk. When the receptionist finally arrived, she simply told me to go to the nail tech's table, but I had never been with that tech before, so I had no idea where to go. The lack of guidance made the experience even more frustrating. The nail tech who assisted me, seemed completely disinterested in her work. She sighed constantly, complained, and even rolled her eyes at other technicians. I believe if there’s any tension or issues among the staff, they should be kept private and not displayed in front of clients. The entire atmosphere was demotivating, and the staff seemed distant and unfriendly, which definitely impacts the customer experience. The quality of my nails was below the standard I’m used to. The tech seemed more interested in talking about her personal dissatisfaction with her life than focusing on the task at hand. I felt awkward the entire time and just wanted to leave. As a client and a business owner myself, I strongly suggest BUnique re-evaluate how they treat their customers and manage their staff. The client experience should always be the priority, not the personal issues of the staff. This review is intended to be constructive, as I’m genuinely concerned about the direction of the salon.
