    Lacti-firm Peel | Hydrating / Age Prevention

    The Lamelle Lactifirm Treatment is a quick and easy resurfacing and hydrating treatment ideal for restoring and replenishing your skin to give it a healthy glow. *Suitable for sensitive skin. *Suitable for clients doing a skin peel for the first time. This lactic acid-based peel is a type of alpha-hydroxy acid (fruit acid) derived from lactose (milk) as the name suggests. It’s usually a fairly mild peel, gently stripping away old cells on the skin surface to make space for new cell growth. It’s also combined with a plumping agent to help improve the skin’s condition almost immediately. What to expect: After the skin prep, Lacti-firm will tingle slightly on your skin during the five-minute treatment and directly after when the neutralising agent is applied. Normally there’s no visible peeling and no social downtime, so you can go straight back to work or to lunch. Almost immediately after the treatment, your skin will feel smooth, hydrated and plump. Keep applying moisturizer as directed to avoid tightness and dryness for the next few days. *Please not that a proper skin analysis will be done beforehand.     Rice Bran Peel | Age Prevention / Texture

    Lamelle Rice Bran AO (Anti-oxidant) peel system. Treating: *Fine Lines & Wrinkles *Ageing *Texture *Sunspots Loading the skin with potent anti-oxidants during in-office procedures has the added advantage of increasing the protection from free radicals, increasing the ability of the skin to correct DNA damage through nuclear excision repair and decreasing the activity of MITF in triggering the production of pigmentation. Keep in mind that this in-office treatment is applied by a Lamelle trained skin care professional! The procedure will be as follow: *After preperation of the skin, four layers of peel solutions are applied to the skin over each other - two layers of each of the two Rice Bran AO peel solutions. *In between applications, the layers are left to penetrate into the skin. The skin is left with a light yellow mask that the patient will go home with. At home: *6 - 8 hours post-treatment. Mask is washed off with a Lamelle cleanser and Restorative balm is applied to the skin. Expected post treatment recovery: • Day 1-2: Skin can feel heat sensitive and slightly sensitised • Day 3-5: Sensitive with light flaking • Day 6-7: Slight sensitivity.     Alpha Peel | Ageing / Anti-ageing

    ALPHA PEEL - Aged Skin / Age Prevention Lamelle's Alpha peel assists in resurfacing the skin as well as minimizing fine lines and wrinkles. One of the most widely used peels for treating sun-damaged skin, glycolic acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid (fruit acid). And, as with any peel, your skin is prepared by removing any oil and dirt and applying Lamelle’s Cathepsin D, an exfoliator that loosens the bonds between dry, old skin cells and healthy cells. What to expect: It’s smaller molecular size means this peel penetrates deeply, so you’ll feel the tingling on your skin a little more. It’s only for five minutes, though, and you’ll soon realise that the sensation dissipates. Of course, your therapist or doctor will be right there with the neutralising agent onhand all the time. Your skin might be a little red and sensitive directly after the treatment, but within minutes it’ll just feel smooth and glowing.
