I got to admit that being in Raffa's chair was a great experience. When he is ready, he asks you how you want the cut. Within about 5 minutes, he modi...fies and adjusts the chair so you are almost flat and your legs are off the ground... Incredible comfortable.. You are kind of wrapped in the chair, immobilized, so he can do what he does. Very cool feeling. After some initial trimming, he puts some kind of lotion on his hands and and covers your face with it. It's almost hypnotic and totally makes you relaxed. He's got pretty strong hands.. after putting me the most relaxed state, he gave me a hair cut. He uses a blade for precision so when he grabs your head, you know he will be perfect. When he was done, it was amazing.. He would not lower the chair until I was happy! He is one unique barber and very talented. He cut my hair the way he wanted and it was better. I got to admit that it was the first time my barber put me in a totally controlled and compliant situation. Very cool feeling and even better haircut. Next month, when I get back, I am not even going to try to tel him what I want. Just going to let him put me up and prone on his chair and let him control. He will subdue and relax me and give me a better cut. If you don't mind giving up some control for it better look, go check him out.
