My two year old has had all his haircuts at Bertie & Belle - after a very distressed first haircut where he screamed the entire time he has now become... confident enough to sit in the cool car chairs by himself! Big thanks to the very patient and super friendly staff. The haircuts are always to a high standard from all staff, and we’ll continue to bring both our boys here for the foreseeable! Show more

My daughters first fringe trim, whilst at the salon it looked shorter than I asked for but the lady said she'd cut it a bit shorter as it would grow q...uickly after a trim. After getting home and washing it myself I realised not only is it ridiculously short for a fringe it also isn't straight. Wouldn't recommend. Show more

We took our nearly 2 year old son on Sunday morning. Gemma was fantastic with him, so engaging and kind which made us feel at ease too. The cars are a... great distraction and the box of toys help too, especially when he needed to stay still Gemma got a drill to help 'fix' the car which worked a trick!! He was fantastic for his hair cut and it looks great too. We will definitely be back and will recommend to family and friends. Thank you! Show more

Highly rate this salon for many reasons! The salons atmosphere was perfect. The stylist Gemma was fantastic and made myself, my 2yr old and 1yr ol...d very welcome. She was excellent with the children especially my son who wasn’t so keen on having his hair cut. There was no rushing, fully discussed the cut before, she interacted with them both amazingly well and made us all feel at ease. The children came away with a ballon each. My kid doesn’t like getting hair cuts. But at Bertie and Belle, everyone is so nice and friendly that we always feel calm. We always go to Gemma, howe...ver, we met Kerry last week. She is absolutely a star. She made sure my child is calm and having fun. In no time we were out of the door. Gemma was there too which really helped. Can’t recommend this place enough. Show more

Couldn’t recommend more! My young son has suspected SEN and hates getting his hair cut which can make it quite stressful. We’re never made to feel bad... or like it’s a problem if he’s distressed, even if it does make the cut difficult to do. My son has had hair cuts by Lisa and Gemma, both have managed amazing finishes, despite him being very wriggly! The staff are wonderful at interacting with the children and try everything possible to make it a smooth, enjoyable experience for all. My daughters have both had lovely cuts here as well. Wouldn’t take my little ones elsewhere! Fantastic team who are all so welcoming and friendly. Show more
