It’s strongly recommended that you return for a check-up and/or jewellery downsizing as part of your piercing healing journey. Downsizing helps to prevent irritation, pressure bumps, and other complications, and is a key step in supporting healthy healing.  

We typically advise downsizing from around 6 weeks post-piercing, though this can vary depending on location and how your body is healing. Your piercer will guide you on the right timing during your appointment.

Please note: your piercing may need to be resized more than once during the healing process. Everyone heals differently, and we’re here to support you with any size changes you may need along the way.

Pierced using 16g implant grade titanium internally threaded jewellery.
