Terrible. Where do I start? So my appointment was booked for 4pm and I messaged Eyez at 4:07pm saying “Hello, where are you?” and he replied saying “o...n the way” so I thought fine maybe he’s just come from somewhere far I’ll give him some more time. I was waiting until 4:30pm and he still didn’t arrive so I kept on messing him and he said he was outside at 4:39pm and I went outside and he wasn’t there but after a few minutes I saw his van. He didn’t park in a bay he just put his van on a pavement outside a corner shop so it’s inconvenient for pedestrians. He then got out and asked me if I wanted a drink from the shop and I said “no I’m alright ”. He was in the shop for about ten minutes before I had to come in twice to ask if he was ready. I went in the shop and saw him talking to the shopkeeper. Finally he told me to get in the van which I did but I then sat down instead of sitting on the barber seat because I thought he was going to move his van to a move suitable location but he never did and then he laughed at me and said “what are you doing? Get in the seat”. So I sat on the seat and his phone rang so he picked it up and it was his Indian friend and he said “I’m just about to cut an Indian guys hair” and when he got off the phone I laughed and I said I’m not an Indian and he asked me if I’m a Pakistani and I said my ethnicity is Pakistani but I identify as British and after I said that Eyez called me whitewashed and he was verbally abusing me. He said “what do you mean ethnicity” in a very rude and sarcastic way. I said I don’t identify as a Pakistani because I’m not born or raised in Pakistan and I’m not from that country. Eyez also asked me if I spoke my language and I said yeah I speak English. English is my language as I’m born and raised in England and the official language is English and he said no I mean your mother language and I said yeah I do speak Punjabi but not as good as my English and I do understand a decent amount of it and he also called me whitewashed and uncultured. I just got abuse from him yesterday and he was acting weird. After a while he got the point and he said “yeah you’re not a Pakistani because in order to be a Pakistani you have to love Pakistan and it’s culture and you have to love going there”. He asked me when the last time I went was and I said 2018 and he asked me if I liked it and if I’d go back and I said no. A barber should not be asking me personal questions and assuming my identity and telling me I’m not British and calling me whitewashed. I am British. I’m born and raised in England and I have a British passport. I’m also English because I’m born and raised in England. I feel like Eyez is one of those guys that thinks you have to be white to be English. You don’t. English is a nationality. It’s also an ethnicity but it’s also definitely a nationality. An American that has English ethnicity is not English. A non white person that is born and raised in England is English and also British if they have a British passport. For some reason non white people think you have to be white to be English but you don’t. Brown people in Scotland proudly identify as Scottish but over here in England we have a problem. In terms of the actual haircut it’s not great. I told Eyez to remove a decent amount of hair from the top and I don’t think he’s taken any off. My beard looks weird. I’m not happy. I’m not happy at all. Eyez has lost a customer. It’s such a shame too because his service is so convenient but it is what it is. You can’t go around calling people whitewashed just because they don’t act the way you want them to and you can’t be rude to your customers. I hope a lot of people read this review and please avoid getting a haircut from Eyez. He’s not all that to be fair I’m sorry to say. Used them once.... was a good barber but very unreliable, booked him today for 9am and never showed.... then he rescheduled me for 10am and never tur...ned up again. Was a shame as me and my 3 mates needed fresh trims £30+£30+£30+£30 =£120 missed out on pal Show more

Didn’t show. Was excited to get a haircut from this guy but no communication on the day absolutely gutted definitely won’t be making the same mistake ...again I’ll only be booking in store barbers from now on. Haircut was for 9am texted him at 8:36am and now it’s 10:32 still no show Show more
