Firstly, thank you Michael for my hair cut, it’s fantastic. So the house of handsome is well located and presents well externally. The interior is fit...ting and well planned out, with plenty of lighting and a sofa seating area for waiting. The staff are very friendly and I was offered a drink upon my arrival. I booked the full service, which included a hair cut, wash and blow dry, ear flaming and a hot towel shave. I searched the booking website to ascertain what a hot towel shave entailed, but there was no finer description. I received a hair cut, wash (no conditioner) and a hair dryer blow dry. But no flaming of the ears, which was disappointing. Next the shave, which had no description. Having had a Turkish shave previously, I expected a similar shave, and the hot towel was lovely, but the shave was not. The hot towel was taken off and for 30 seconds my face dried out. Then the blade was taken to my cooled face and neck with no cream or foam. As you can imagine, my face and neck felt like he had done it with a vegetable peeler. Overall, what started as a nice service, ended with no flaming of the ears and a shave I wish I hadn’t of had. Show more

Very bad experience overall.. Could not be worse. The lady cutting my hair was all stroppy and moody, giving me dirty looks from start to finish. The ...haircut was suppused to be half an hour but after 10 quick minutes she was done.. No fade no nothing.. She didn't even blur the diffrent lengths of the hair in and it looked terrible by the end. Definetley would not reccomend there are much better alternatives. Show more

Always get my hair done by Saber but that’s just because of personal preference. We talk about holidays and family and all sorts - very personable. He... also does an excellent trim and I tip happily because it’s a great cut and a great chat. Always 10/10. Reception staff are also friendly and offer me a drink every time. Show more
