The Korean lash lift is a new technique that is taking over from the previous methods of lash lifting, for the better. Here’s a little bit about why;

LASH HEALTH:

The Korean lash lift uses a gentler formula known as Cysteamine (alternative to the traditional TGA). Cysteamine is derived from cysteine - the main amino acid found within the keratin of our hair structure. Because of its natural origin, it not only lifts your lashes but also gives them extra nutrients whilst doing so. Cysteamine also has a lower pH (closer to neutral, varying from 7-8.5 opposed to TGA 9-10.5). This decreases the risk of over processing and your lashes will feel silky soft afterward, avoiding that dry feeling that can sometimes be associated with lash lifts.

RESULTS:

With this method we can break down and set the entire disulfide bonds ( root to tip ) and use little to no glue during the entire process which makes it a more comfortable and seamless process. The best bit is that it gives a more drastic lift, even for those stubborn lashes that don’t always get the results we want with the traditional method.

 Consultations allow me to give my professional advice on what treatment would be best suited to you. They also give you a chance to vision your treatment and results, before committing to it, as-well as settling any queries. This ultimately creates a much more trusting and comfortable environment, during the treatment, for both you as the client and me as your technician. 

What does it entail?

Brows
- Discussion on history/daily routine with brows to gain an insight on what you like from your brows. This will help me to determine what you wants to achieve, and a treatment can then be recommended.
- Talking colour; Depth, darkness, undertones etc.
- Talking shape; Altering/keeping the same.
- Check over for any contraindications (medications etc).
- Conduction of patch test.

Lashes
- Discussion on history/daily routine with lashes to gain an insight on what you like from your lashes. This will help determine what you want to achieve, and a treatment can then be recommended.
- Check over of the natural lashes so that expectations can be reasonably managed and to ensure the recommendation is safe to proceed with.
- Check over for any contraindications (medications etc).

Brow Lami is best suited to anyone wanting to reshape or remould the hair structure/direction of their brows. For instance if you have downward growing hairs or unruly brows. Lamination is also perfect for anyone who regularly styles their brows with gels/soaps/glues for a ‘lami look’, as you will be able to achieve this outcome at a much lower maintenance.

IMPORTANT AFTERCARE:

• Keep dry for 24 hours
• After this, use a brow/lash conditioner daily
• Use a brow mask 1-3 x per week
• Avoid heavily chemical infused brow products such as got 2b glued 
• When styling, always go in direction of hairs as brushing against them can cause breakage 
• Wait 8-10 weeks until repeating treatment (you can receive a wax/tint as many times as you like in between)
