I had booked a full set of eyelash extension costing £65 (3D set) and was so excited to having them done especially for my cousin’s wedding in France.... I had it done on Friday afternoon and Saturday my eyes became itchy- I thought it was normal but the next day my whole face became swollen and incredibly itchy. I went back to the salon to have it removed but the swollen didn’t go. I ended up in A&E and was then prescribed steroids. I missed the wedding cause I looked awful at that point. I have been so angry with myself to having my eyelashes done which I will never do again. There should have been a patch test done before but o wasn’t offered one. When I asked for the aftercare treatment I was told to check Facebook and Instagram. After I came back to have them removed I was given a full refund and my allergy tablets got refunded but the main thing is that I missed my cousin’s wedding which was very sad. I would recommend you to have this done well before an event I will never have my eyelashes done now because of this dreadful experience Show more

I'm sorry that you had a bad reaction to the glue. Allergic reactions can be quite uncomfortable. It's important to seek medical attention if you are experiencing severe symptoms . I did provide you with full of my support as I did suggest allergic tablets after lashes have been removed . Day after I did suggest to go to your local GP to get stronger medication. Your well- being are important and it is my priority to make sure that right steps are taken .
