I do a 47 mile round trip to visit this barbers which says something. Yes, I have stalked, sorry followed my barber for years so you do what 'yougotta...do' for that perfect 'coiffe'. Even when i messed up the appointment a couple of months back, it was dealt with in a great way and I had a new barber for that time, with no issue apart from my infantile griping. You see that's one of the great things about this place - sit with anyone and you will be elated, it's what they do. Oh, and they have a new shop, which looks superb - great atmosphere, friendly, comfortable, relaxed - and non pretentious, unlike the city centre overambitious, arrogant pricks I have had to endure these past years. But overall the music. The music. From cultured japanese, to a soft drumming rhythm (SPEED!) right through to the most mellifluous tones of 'How Am I Supposed To Live Without You' (spotify it kids), you are transported to 45 minutes of serenity. Long may it reign. Book early folks - it's a busy one. Show more

Many congratulations to Chris on designing the new premises : you can now ...go a little early to chill and relax before your haircut or shave. Nice place ; nice people ; nice atmosphere. Thomas is a gentleman and great conversationalist, always very courteous and takes his time to cut my dwindling grey hairs, always finished with hot towel, making you feel like a million dollars :-) Show more
