I was really looking forward to this appointment as I’d previously had a really good experience with Lizzy. The positives: she was punctual and on ti...me, fast and efficient, and didn’t pull my hair at all. The negatives: I had to explain that I couldn’t/wouldn’t use Xpression extensions as these irritate my scalp, and cause inflammation and extreme itchiness - I had Ruka extensions which I know are fine. The same with gel/edge control - I’ve stopped using these on my hair. However, I felt I was perceived as being difficult and had to assert my position several times - braids are no good to me if I have to rip them out after a few days because of the reaction. It should not be this difficult to be heard. Honestly, I’m so disappointed by how this went. Show more

I explained to you that I didn’t have an issue with using your ruka extensions, however those ruka extensions do not blend well with natural 4c hair compared to the xpressions so I would not be held responsible if your style doesn’t lasts as long as it should. With the edge control I’ve used the same edge control on you the first I did your hair and you didn’t have any problems with it but that's fine because we eventually came to an agreement to not use it on the scalp only on the hair . Not every client is meant for me, so maybe you’re just not my client and I would appreciate it if you went somewhere else next time thank you .
