Kids Cut and Blowdry

My daughter’s appointment was at 2:30pm, we arrived early at 2:25pm. We were told there would be a 10–15 minute delay, yet we were not seen until 3:20...pm - 50 minutes late for a haircut that didn’t even last 5 minutes. Waiting that long with a 4 year old is difficult enough, but I also had a newborn at home and had not planned on being away for that long. This was far beyond what was communicated and caused significant inconvenience. This experience was unacceptable, and I will not be returning to this salon. I expect a prompt response and a gesture of goodwill to acknowledge the poor service provided. Show more

I tried Optimo because my usual hairdresser wasn’t available due to health reasons. It was Siobhan who cut and coloured my hair. I was in for root cov...erage, but unfortunately I left with a lot of greys remaining at the front of my hair line. Siobhan took money off the price for me and offered to fix it free of charge which was nice of her, but I don’t have a lot of time to sit and get my hair redone (mother of a 19m old). I’ve therefore decided to continue to colour them (the greys) in with the powder until my usual hairdresser is available. Lovely lady but I left really disappointed. Show more

Optimo Motherwell
Unfortunately, this client came in with product in her hair (root powders and spray) which created a barrier around the hairline affecting the coverage. Didn’t tell me before hand that her hair was filled with product until colour was applied. It was booked last minute and we felt rushed as she told us didn't have time to sit and have her hair done. Client was also upset with her usual hairdresser (from salon across the street) cancelled on her saying she had it booked for a while and she wanted to go elsewhere now so booked with us, asked for highlights but only booked in for a tint we were busy and didn’t have time to change the service. I gave discount as good will gesture but feel they wanted a free service and as it wasn’t our fault I wasn’t prepared to spend two hours and the use of our products wasted I wasnt giving a free service. Bad review is just so they can have money back when they gained a full cut and colour service. A very small percentage of hair on the front wasn’t 100% covered and client has been offered to pop back in and have it touched up which would completely resolve this situation.
