      Under-eye fillers involve carrying out a series of small injections into the skin below the eye – usually on top of the bone – using hyaluronic acid injections. These hollows are called tear troughs.       Your chosen treatment area is sucked using vacuum pressure into a ‘cup’ The walls of the cryo hand pieces have cold plates which will maintain contact with the skin for up to 45mins at a temperature of -10 degrees centigrade. The fat cells of the treatment area will then begin to freeze and as a result these cells will die. Results will be visible after 1 treatment (approx 20% reduction in fat cells after one treatment) however a course of treatments is recommended for optimal results. This treatment uses a non invasive technique with no downtime post procedure meaning you can return to work or continue to exercise. Extensive research and testing has shown that this cooling process will only damage the fat cells. This will cause no damage to the skin tissue or muscle within the treated area. The fat cells in the treated area can never return however any remaining fat cells can still expand causing you to gain weight if you do not maintain a healthy lifestyle. It is normal to experience a tingling sensation at the beginning of the treatment however as your body adjusts to the temperature the treatment area will begin to feel numb.
