    Resurfacer

    Resurfacers can be used to help improve most skin concerns. They are a step before a chemical peel as they are not as intense. A resurfacer is a superficial treatment, meaning that they work on the very top layer of skin (stratum corneum). They stimulate to the basal layer to encourage cell renewal. Resurfacers are formulated with a blend of AHA’s and BHA’s to break down the lipid cement holding cells together and they generally have no or very little downtime.
